Home for older Americans

Hello and welcome. It has long been an ambition of mine to build a web site that catered to people like myself, that is, older Americans. The idea behind this site is to have fun so while health care legislation and the elections will find there way onto this site chiefly in the "forum" and "blog" sections we will forego the mundane topics and instead focus on the culture of our age from the Saturday morning cartoons to wonderful movies and music of the 50's, 60's and 70's. See our first such page.

Have you ever heard the North Platte Canteen? This is a remarkable and very moving story.

Kirk Gibson, Secetariat, Dave Wottle and more on the first Sports page.
